The New South Wales Blues team were victorious against the Queensland Maroons, 38 to 18 in the second game of the State of Origin competition held in Melbourne. It was a remarkable game in State of Origin history, following New South Wales’ 6 tries in the first 40 minutes of the game. The Blues and Maroons are now tied with one win each, with the two teams preparing to face off in the State of Origin championship final on Wednesday 17 July 2024.
