Chinese Ambassador to Sāmoa recognizes the services of Sāmoa Capital Radio
Earlier this morning the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Sāmoa His Excellency Fei Mingxing, visited the offices of Sāmoa Capital Radio in Lalovaea, where he acknowledged the services of the radio station in promoting meaningful programs, including education, health and other programs delivered for the benefit of our people.
This meeting is the beginning of a partnership established between both sides, seeking to work together, and is the first radio station in Sāmoa that has been offered this service.
The meeting was attended by the Board Chair of Si’ufofoga ‘o le Laumua Trust, Leiataualesā Tunumafono Ken Ah Kuoi, including the Chief Executive of SCR Afamasaga Tealu Moresi who joined virtually, and Sāmoan-based staff member Tasesa Lam Sam, meeting with the Ambassador to discuss this new partnership.
The meeting concluded with a visit around the studio at Lalovaea by His Excellency the Ambassador and his wife, also presenting a gift from the Chinese Embassy to the Sāmoa Capital Radio office in Sāmoa.
